Self-Limiting Beliefs

Self-limiting beliefs can be crippling. They stifle our talent and stall our ambitions. Most of the time they are simply perceptions rather than reality, or borne over time from well-meaning family members and close friends who are subconsciously projecting their own fears of failure.

But it’s possible to rewire our brains (neuroplasticity) by consciously replacing negative thoughts with positive ones which, over time, drives subsconscious positive behaviours and actions.

So, next time you are feeling overwhelmed thinking “What if I fail here?”, try replacing it with “But what if I succeed!” And write down a list of positive outcomes from that potential success.

Yes, success is never easy - that’s why it’s so rewarding - but the pain left from the regret of not trying is much harder to take - and lasts far longer - even if you have to fail a few times along the way.
Trust and Believe…and keep moving forward!
